Oh the places you will go. Many mountains of high and valleys of low. Her restless soul often not allowing the wind to take her wherever it chose to go.
Anxieties of the future fighting fate. Resistance against the natural flow of life. Holding onto the structure of her own direction. The wind pulls her in one direction as she fights to go in the opposite. Two shear forces in a never ending battle.
A sudden change of heart leads her to release her grip and the wind carries her away. As she sails through the atmosphere she notices that she feels lighter, as if a weight had been lifted. Fiery eyes look from the left to the right, taking in the world below. A sudden realization that this is exactly where she was meant to be. An acceptance that maybe she was not created to be the leader of her own way – that someone out there knew better for her than she did.
Great prose! Beautiful and powerful!
