Blessed are we with mothers who love so passionately. You stitched me together in your womb of care and compassion. You watched me grow like a blade of grass. Each day you watered me with your wisdom and grace. On days I was entirely unlovable you still held me tight. Rocking me to sleep into the wee hours of the night. Soothing words read to me before bed as I lie with my small eyes closed. Fierce like a lion you defended me. Like a mother bear protecting her cub. You never left me alone for a moment. Our hearts connected no matter the distance. My best interest always in your heart even when I could not see it myself. Your love as endless as the waters of the sea appear to be. Your heart as deep as the depths of the ocean. No one can take your place within my heart. Irreplaceable is what you are. Thank you for being all that you are. A beautiful, loving mother that is appreciated all of my days, not just today.
